
Parks
and Recreation Activities
The Village of Lakemore is fortunate to be able to offer its citizens some of the finest Parks and Recreation activities in Summit County. Citizens of all ages can enjoy a wide range of activities from fishing and water skiing on Springfield Lake to organized youth sports, including Soccer , Little League Baseball and Softball.
The preservation and future development of the Lakemore Parks system are under the direction of the Lakemore Parks Board. This Board, consisting of five (5) Lakemore residents and one (1) Council person, are appointed by the Mayor and meets regularly each month.
The following is a brief description on the major park areas located throughout our community.

James B. Dodds Lakefront Park
Location: Along the southern end of Springfield Lake.
Activities:
| Boat Launch and parking areas for those who enjoy fishing, boating and water skiing on Springfield Lake. |
| This Park includes a Picnic area, Pavilion, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Horseshoe Pits, Playground and a Office/Marina with restroom facilities. | |
| Park attendants are on duty during the summer months for the collection of boat launching, dock rental and Pavilion reservation fees. |

Hinton/Humiston Waterworks Park
Location: Sanatorium Road (west of Canton Road at Springfield High School)
Upper Waterworks Park Activities:
| This part of the Park includes a Picnic Area, Pavilion, Horseshoe Pits, Volleyball Court and restroom facilities. | |
| Playground equipment. | |
| Pavilion Rental and reservations can be made at the Lakemore Village Municipal Building or by calling 733-6125. |
Lower Park Activities:
| The Lower Park contains four (4) fenced Baseball / Softball fields, Playground, Concession stand and restroom facilities. | |
| This area is the Home of (LASTAR), Lakemore and Springfield Township Amateur Recreation Baseball / Softball League. | |
| The major events include Local, State and National Baseball / Softball Tournaments. |

Lakemore Soccer Park
Location: Sanatorium Road (west of Lakemore Methodist Church at Flickinger Road)
Activities include:
| This area is home of the Springfield Youth Soccer Association. The soccer field was dedicated in 1994 through a grant with the Lakemore United Way Agency. | |

Lakemore Memorial (Tri-Angle) Park
Location: Where Main Street, Lake Road and Church Street are located. This area is also called the Tri-Angle.
Activities include:
