Welcome to the Village of Lakemore!

The Village of Lakemore is a small community of approximately 2,560 residents, located of the Southern border of Springfield Lake in Southern Summit County, Ohio.

The Village was incorporated in 1921 and operates under the local government of a Mayor and six Council members. The Village is very fortunate to have all the advantages of a city, while still enjoying a small town atmosphere.

Our residents and businesses rely on the finest full-time Police Department, highly trained Fire and EMS Department, along with a skilled Public Services Department. The Village offers a community operated High-level and Low-level Water System; Sanitary Sewers; Community-wide Waste Removal and Recycling programs. The Village has the finest Parks and Recreation program available in the area. Activities are available for the young and the old alike, including fishing, water skiing, youth soccer and baseball/softball programs.
